More Zine Templates!

< 1 min read

I had a lot of fun making the last zine template with Debbie for their work project, and the video part of it took me back to the type of work I used to do (audio at the radio station, video at Kohl’s). So, I figured there are a lot of zine types and sizes… why not explain more of them!

So here are the next two, and I’m calling these both “mini” because they use a single sheet of paper just like the last one.

That one above is pretty tiny, but very cute and easy to carry. The one below uses a sheet a legal paper to make a little larger zine, but you can also do it with letter paper and just have smaller frames if you want.

For some of my zines, I scale it up even further to an 11×17 sheet of paper so they have even more room to write/draw! That’s what’s so cool about all of these, you can make them bigger or smaller but the method of making them remains the same!

As always, the instructions and templates are free to download at my Gumroad page (http://themizark.show/zine-template). Feel free to share it with others, and if you make some zines using these methods, definitely share the results with me!

If you scan them and make multiples I’d even be excited to send you some of mine in a trade. So get to zine-making! It’s 2021, we’re all still trapped inside for a while, and this is an awesome hobby with a great community around it. So what are you waiting for!?
