Casual Conversations

As an AuDHD person in the modern workforce, I found it can be truly isolating to not have someone to bounce things off of regularly; especially if they didn’t have similar experiences to me. That led to burnout and some pretty bad anxiety/depression over the course of my career. 

Don’t wait until you’re in the red zone to reach out and chat about what’s happening at your workplace that gives you the ick! Get ahead of the curve and lets vent about things while doing crafts or playing a game.

Focused Figma Upskilling

The speed at which technology changes outpaces the workforce pretty universally. My first job was still using Photoshop CS4 while the rest of the world was on the Creative Cloud or had moved on to Sketch. 

Since then I’ve seen how Adobe’s XD failure put a lot of folks behind the curve on adopting a better program, and when it finally happens things don’t transfer 1:1… so instead of just watching YouTube tutorials and banging your head into documentation, let me help!

Presentation Preparation

I’ve found it nearly impossible to do presentation practice alone. It feels awkward, I can’t really hear myself while focusing on talking through points, and I’m not about to spend twice the time recording it and listening back to my own voice. Yuck city. 

So let me listen for you! I’m a great note taker, active listener, and have a lot of experience in different fields and with very different types of leaders. Together, we can get that presentation polished like it’s nothing!

Honing Soft Skills

School focuses primarily on teaching us hard skills. That’s what makes us capable of getting a job, sure… but soft skills are what helps us to keep the job and actually get ahead at it. 
 
But the workplace doesn’t teach soft skills, and most managers aren’t even trained for how to upskill their own teams! So why sit around waiting for someone to do it for you, reach out and we can work on those skills together. You’ll leave with a portable skills document that follows you throughout your career and prepared you for every step of the journey.
